What's in it for investors?
An essential part of our program is the connection of the awarded companies with large corporations and investors, to boosting collaboration and create win-win opportunities.
The EIC pilot aims to support top-class innovators, entrepreneurs, small companies and researchers with bright ideas and the ambition to scale-up internationally. The program provides grants up to 4 M€ and equity investment up to 15M€.
The portfolio
Currently, the program supports over than 4500 European Innovative SMEs & ScaleUps and StartUps on different stages of maturity. The topics and target markets are diverse as there are no restrictions in the program. A total amount of around €3 billion will be provided throughout the period 2018-2020 to fund the most talented innovators and help their companies scale up and expand beyond European borders.
Business Acceleration Services
The Enhanced EIC pilot offers business acceleration services to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This program provides networking opportunities, and privileged access to finance through matchmaking events with world-leading companies and investors.
